Pending home sales rise 5.2% in July

Forest City to demolish, build, manage housing for U.S. Air Force families at four bases
The Air Force deal brings Forest City's military-housing portfolio to approximately 14,138 homes, with projects in nine states. The real estate company, which is based in Cleveland, will lease 846 acres from the Air Force and take over 2,387 homes in South Carolina, Tennessee and Mississippi.
